Regional Housing Report Card
The program will create unbiased data to be used in assessing the housing stock and housing supply and demand within the jurisdiction. All housing providers, including REALTORS®, will benefit from having a unified presentation of housing facts and figures that clearly depicts the state of housing today and into the future.
Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS®
Home Buyer Fair
The event is open to all first time home buyers and renters in need of education about the purchase of a home. Potential buyers will learn the basics of how to buy a home, how to get a loan, understand credit, why and how to choose a REALTOR® and will be provided with information about housing grants and assistance programs in Santa Cruz County.

REALTOR® Association of Miami and the Beaches
Support of Gulf Opportunity Zone Program
Gulf Opportunity Zone (Go Zone) is a federal program to benefit areas affected by hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma. It is an affordable housing initiative designed to generate home sales in approved areas by waiving the first-time homebuyer requirement, increasing the maximum income requirements and increasing purchase prices of Florida’s existing first-time homebuyer program. This program will be explained as part of a Homebuyer Fair that will bring together REALTORS®, homebuyers, lenders, developers, city and county elected officials and school board members.
Kentucky
Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS®
Repairing Homes for Low-Income Seniors
This program repairs and modifies homes so that elderly and disabled people can stay in their homes. This type of home repair has long term implications of the neighborhoods and the larger community of homeowners. When neighbors see repairs taking place they are encouraged to follow suit and a pride in the neighborhood encourages homeownership and people staying in their homes assists in increasing home ownership in low and very-low income ranges in the community.

Resource Guide of Financing Options
The association will become a source of specialized home purchasing information and develop an affordable/workforce housing quick reference guide. REALTORS® will be able to use the guide to help increase their financial literacy of housing programs and gain a better understanding of the financial help that is available through non-profits and local government programs.
Missouri
St. Louis Association of REALTORS®
Non-profit Organization for Affordable Housing Development
The St. Louis Association of REALTORS®, along with developers, home builders, and bankers will work together on a project that will offer affordable housing via donations of land, local banks CDC money, and/or tax increment financing. Thirty percent of the units in a market rate development will be set aside for affordable housing with the estimated size of the project being ten to twenty units.
Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS®
Purchasing Lots for Affordable Housing Development
The purpose of the Section 502 Mutual Self-Help Housing Loan program is primarily to help very low- and low-income households construct their own homes. The program is targeted to families who are unable to buy clean, safe housing through conventional methods. Families participating in the program perform approximately 65 percent of the construction labor on each other’s homes. The REALTOR® association will purchase lots and make them available for the construction of these homes.

Community Fair Promoting Affordable Home Ownership
A housing fair will be held to raise awareness of existing programs in the local community that make owning and/or maintaining a home an affordable and viable option. The event will consist of a traditional vendor fair and workshops covering a variety of topics. During the fair information will be provided about the newly created REALTOR®-funded down-payment assistance program, which has is being established in conjunction with other affiliates. As a take-away, fair attendees will receive a free credit report as well as a housing guide containing comprehensive information on the home buying process, the programs available to them and more.

Showcase of Affordable Homes
The Columbus Board of REALTORS® Super Sunday Affordable Housing Open House is an annual event held to showcase the vibrant stock of affordably priced homes available in Central Ohio. It also gives prospective buyers looking to purchase in the affordable housing market an opportunity to talk with agents about their specific housing needs.
Oklahoma
Oklahoma Association of REALTORS®
Development of Fundraising Materials for Non-profit Foundation
The Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® is creating the Oklahoma Housing Foundation, a charitable non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide down payment assistance to first-time homebuyers, as well as contribute to other types of housing assistance programs. The materials to be produced will be used to raise awareness of the foundation and encourage member brokers to make contributions.

Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
Web-Based Financial Information Database
The association will develop and launch a web-based tool designed for customers within the region to educate and connect the general public with financing opportunities for home ownership and to connect those consumers directly with professional REALTORS® who have attained a level of housing program expertise to assist and prepare prospective homebuyers for ownership of a home. This effort will address the lack of a single information source within the region from which consumers can obtain information on all federal, state and local housing programs available as well as information about the house buying process.

Dulles Area Association of REALTORS®
Workforce Housing Conference
The association, in partnership with the local housing advisory board, will sponsor a workforce housing conference titled, “Workforce Housing: Keeping Pace with Economic Successes.” The program will explore local solutions focusing on the housing challenges facing the country’s workforce. Stakeholder groups will convene to discuss solutions that maintain and promote the area’s economic competitiveness.
Eastern Shore Association of REALTORS®
Conducting Housing Demand Analysis
The association will help sponsor a detailed report of housing demand projections and their impact on the local community. Completion of this housing study will be the first step towards identifying the housing need in order for the county housing committee in partnership with private sector sources to develop and advocate resources that will expand housing availability and ensure an adequate supply of housing opportunities in both the rental and homeownership sectors of the market.
