Record Attendees, Exhibitors at Midyear Meetings
REALTORSŪ and their guests broke the attendance record at the 2005 REALTORSŪ Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo, being held May 9-14, with more than 9,000 members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORSŪ in Washington, D.C., to make visits to Capitol Hill and attend conference sessions and association meetings.
This year's attendance breaks the previous record of 8,300, set at last year.
The number of exhibitors at the Trade Expo, at 210, also hit a record, and includes 80 companies making their first appearance at the annual legislative conference. The Expo portion of the conference runs May 11-13 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Attendees walking the aisles of the 30,500-square-foot Expo exhibit hall on Wednesday found new technology developments and ideas for boosting productivity among the main attractions. The Expo is open on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
