Video Podcasts Touted for Buyer Targeting
Video podcasting of real estate listings is less expensive than virtual tours, and the technology makes it possible for real estate professionals to track the number of people who viewed their videos, says Ryan Hoback, CEO of What I Want Podcasting.
What's more, video podcasts are portable; they can be viewed on a variety of devices and platforms, he says.
Hoback's company provides a media player and video podcasting service to practitioners that starts at $50 per listing. The agents get a personal branded media player and their video listings posted on Google, Yahoo, YouTube, and other sites.
"In one month agents are averaging more viewings of a single video than they have phone calls on that property in a 6 month period from traditional marketing," says Hoback. "The return is tremendous."
It doesn't take long to produce a video, he says. In some cases it can be done in 24 hours.
