Daily Real Estate News  |  June 24, 2009  |   Company Offers Lesson in Real Estate Bike Tours
Real estate agents interested in environmentally friendly home tours now have access to a licensing designation that provides the information they need to add bike tours to their business plans.

Boulder, Colo.-based Pedal to Properties offers the designation for $495 per year and a renewal fee of $195, giving real estate pros access to a referral network and video advice on purchasing cruiser bikes, safety, forging local partnerships, and insurance.

"As our buyers are focusing more and more on their health and the environment, so are we," says Pedal to Properties founder and real estate pro Matt Kolb. "Each time our clients finish a tour by bike they have one constant response: 'I would not have seen that neighborhood the same way from the backseat of your car.'"

John Stovall of EcoBroker says green home tours are desired by 80 percent of consumers.
