How to Develop Brand Advocates
Real estate professionals would be wise to take the time to cultivate clients to be advocates of their brand.
Before prospective advocates will freely promote an agent's brand, they must be aware of the brand, recognize the brand and associate it with previous communications, become interested in the brand and understand its benefits, and purchase the agent's services.
Agents must determine which clients already are advocates and which have the potential to be, concentrating on those with large spheres of influence. They should meet with or reach out to these clients on a quarterly basis, using personalized communications that follow up on issues that are important to the client.
Practitioners should thank these clients for their efforts to promote them and invite them to events, club meets, home parties, and other gatherings.
