| A. Bar Information | All materials, informational, instructional, promotional, or otherwise will contain a bar across the bottom of the page. The bar is to be equal to 10% of the overall height of the piece and will contain either the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO, and the NAR Tagline. The bar is to be either PMS 293 Blue, black, white or the color of the paper, whichever is the opposite of the overall background of the piece on which it is placed. CLICK HERE for print examples. |

| B. Bar Variance |
If the reversed solid bar containing the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO is distracting, or aesthetically undesirable, it may be made the same color as the background of the piece. If this option is used, a one point rule should be placed above the logos to define the 10% area of the bar. |

| C. Bar Conformity |
The bar can be no less than .875" high from the bottom of the page and must conform to the rules regarding the REALTOR® LOGO placement and AREA OF ISOLATION. |

| D. Bar Contents |
The front side or cover page must always contain the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO and is to be positioned on the left side of the bar with space around all sides equal to the AREA OF ISOLATION. The "Real Strength. Real Advantages." tagline (see E. Bar Tagline below), must be positioned on the right side following the same rules as the REALTOR® LOGO and the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO. No other logos or text can be placed within the bar. The back cover or side must always contain the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO and is to be positioned on the left side of the bar with space around all sides equal to the AREA OF ISOLATION. In addition, the appropriate address (Chicago or Washington), telephone number and Web address (www.REALTOR.org) must be added below the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO on the left side of the bar with space around all sides equal to the AREA OF ISOLATION. | E. Bar Tagline | The NAR tagline is "Real Strength. Real Advantages." The front side or cover page must always contain the REALTOR® LOGO or the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO and the NAR tagline, and is to be positioned on the left side of the bar with space around all sides equal to the AREA OF ISOLATION. No other logos or text can be placed within the bar.The tagline is in Myriad Light font and is positioned on the right side of the bar no less than 2.5 picas or 3/8" from the right edge of the page. Align top of caps to top of block R. Size of the tagline copy should remain large enough to be in balance with the NAR logo on the left. Suggested minimum is 10 point type. CLICK HERE for examples.
For the period of the celebration the bar is to be white space no less than 1 1/8” high and contain the NAR Signature Logo positioned on the left side of the bar and the Centennial Logo positioned on the right side. The top of the white space bar can be defined by a .5 black, ruled line bleeding the paper’s left and right edge and positioned 1 1/8” or more from bottom of the page. Or the top of the white space bar can be defined by a background color, or an image with a consistently solid area at the bottom, and stopping at least 1 1/8” from the bottom of the page. The color of the NAR Signature Logo may be either Black or Blue, with the Centennial Logo in either 4-color, Black or Blue. The logos should be positioned 1/2” from the left and right page edges. The top of the Centennial Logo’s type should be 1/8” below the .5 black, ruled line (or the background color). The top of the block R should align with the top of the Centennial Logo’s rectangle shape. |

| F. Bar Sign-Off |
The back side or back cover when owned by NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and not sold to a second party for purposes of advertisement should contain the NAR SIGNATURE LOGO which is to be positioned on the left side of the bar with space around all sides equal to the AREA OF ISOLATION. No other logos, i.e., the Equal Housing symbol are to be positioned within the bar. |
