NAR SIGNATURE LOGO

NAR SIGNATURE LOGO is defined as the REALTOR® LOGO with the words NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

A. Typography

The logotype, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, is set in Adobe Garamond Plain, all caps, and is range kerned +10% of the point size. This is the only acceptable specification.

B. Line
Breakage

The words NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® can be used in one or two lines and should never be hyphenated; there are no exceptions. The preferred usage is one line.

However, if space is limited, it is acceptable to break it into two lines. When two lines are used, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION must be on the first line and OF REALTORS®
must be on the second line.

This is the only acceptable line breakage.

C. Area of Separation/
Area of Isolation Exception

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is even with the top of the REALTOR® LOGO and the distance between the REALTOR® LOGO and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is the following formula:

The space between the REALTOR®
block "R" rectangle and the type block containing the name and the MOTTO is equal to the width of the left side of the graphic letter "R," and must be measured from the right side of the REALTOR® block "R" rectangle construction grid, which is the same as the right side of the ®.

This spatial relationship is the only approved
AREA OF ISOLATION exception.

Any additional information, e.g., motto address or other information must always align flush left with the words NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

D. Size Relationship The following formula is to be used to determine the size ratio of NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® to the block "R" rectangle; the formula is based on the Association name as two lines.

1. The height of the Association name when used as two lines is equal to half the height of the REALTOR®
block "R" rectangle. This height does not include the word REALTOR®.

2. This distance is equal to the top of the rectangle to the point at which the rounded part of the "R" meets the lower triangle, i.e. when using the grid, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® would be 3 units high and the space between the lines would be half the height of the Association name, or 1 1/2 units high. When the Association name is used as one line, it is the same size as when used as two lines. The Association name remains in one line in the top left position. The formula to determine the height of the Association name is the same for one or two lines.

E. Color

The NAR SIGNATURE LOGO must be shown in the same color as the positive areas of the REALTOR® LOGO; either PMS 293 Blue, black, or white.

F. Usage

The NAR signature logo should be included at least once on all materials.

G. Other Signature
Logos
