2008 59 1/2 Member Forum

NAR President Dick Gaylord sat down with REALTOR® legend Ebby Halliday during the 59 ½ Minute Forum at NAR’s Midyear Legislative Meetings in Washington, DC on May 13, 2008. During their 40-minute discussion, Dick and Ebby covered a wide-range of issues from how she got involved in real estate to the role NAR played in her career. Dick also asked Ebby about the importance of community service, as well as what real estate will be like in 100 years. 

NAR President-Elect Charles McMillan also addressed REALTORS® at the 59 ½ Minute Forum. Charles discussed NAR’s accomplishments during its first 100 years of service to its members and the nation. And NAR First Vice President Vicki Cox Golder discussed NAR’s public policy priorities that will help restore consumer confidence in the market, while helping REALTORS® succeed in their businesses.
