To identify best practices that associations are using to successfully serve and provide value to commercial practitioners; and to help associations promote their value to recruit and retain commercial members.
The Innovation Grant Program provides financial resources for new commercial programming at REALTOR® associations that have an active commercial structure. Innovation Grant proposals must demonstrate an impact on the REALTOR® association; new products, programs, processes, or services that improve an organization's commercial real estate presence will be considered.
Promote NAR's Call For Action urging Congress to extend Mortgage Debt Forgiveness Tax Relief to help meet the Advocacy component of the Core Standards for State and Local Associations.

As part of a wide-ranging set of recommendations to raise the bar on REALTOR® professionalism, the NAR Board of Directors at its Nov. 10 meeting in New Orleans approved the drafting of a proposed aspirational Code of Excellence to be brought to the board at a future meeting for approval. The goal is to raise the practice of real estate measurably through increased training in the competencies that consumers value.
