The 20 Who Made It Happen

Nineteen local boards and one state association participated in the 1908 NAR organizing meeting. The Boston exchange sent a last-minute notice that its delegate was unable to attend. The Portland, Ore., board learned of the meeting too late but asked to be considered a charter member.
