NAR Leadership Academy: Commitment

What Is the Financial Commitment?
NAR Leadership Academy participants are expected to pay a $1,000 tuition fee. An invoice for this fee will be sent upon acceptance to the program. Payment is due upon receipt. NAR will accept tuition payments for 30 days from date of invoice.

NAR covers all course materials, hotel expenses, and airfare for Sessions 1, 3, and 4. Academy participants are responsible for their own travel expenses to attend Session 2, the REALTORS® Conference & Expo, and Session 5, the Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo.

What Is the Time Commitment?

Attendance at all sessions is mandatory. If you miss one or more than four hours of a session, you will need to complete an assignment decided upon by the advisory group. The assignment will emphasize and reflect on the materials covered in the session. You will be able to continue in the program and graduate with your class upon proof of completion of the assignment. Not completing the assignment or a second absence, you will be dropped from the program.

Academy social events are for business networking, so please respect that invitations to Academy functions are intended for participants only, unless otherwise noted.

Participants are expected to complete various assigned readings and are encouraged to keep a personal leadership point-of-view journal.
