2009 Association Executives Institute

Update: AEI Rebate Program

The AEI Rebate, a part of the Right Tools Right Now initiative, is a good faith discount offered to U.S. REALTOR® association chief staff executives attending the 2009 AE Institute March 20-24 in Colorado Springs. This rebate is intended  give those CEOs who are in need of financial assistance an opportunity to attend  the AE Institute.  The rebate covers AEI tuition ($475), plus $1,000 to cover Institute travel costs.

How Does It Work?

Institute attendees must pay all tuition and travel costs upfront; rebates will be awarded after the Institute takes place. Rebate forms will be distributed on Monday, March 23, at the AE Institute. That will be the only place the forms will be available.

What if I Haven't Registered for the Institute Yet?

Online registration is closed.  You may register onsite upon your arrival in Colorado Springs.  Onsite registrants are still eligible for the rebate.

Dear Colleagues:

On behalf of the 2009 Association Executives Institute Advisory Board, I'm excited to share with you the curriculum for the 2009 Association Executives Institute, which is themed, "Reach Your Peak."

The 2009 AE Institute Advisory Board has worked hard to develop a curriculum that satisfies the diverse needs of our constituency, while staying abreast of an ever-changing industry. As a result, this Institute curriculum is built around three areas that appeal to all experience levels. “Connecting with Leadership, Members, and the Public” will help you satisfy member needs, nurture leaders, and enhance your association’s community presence. “Industry Issues and Trends” will help you position your association as a leader amidst the industry changes, and keep your members at the center of it all. “REALTOR® Association Management” will help you take a fresh look at what you do to help you increase your impact on day-to-day operations.

As always, the Institute promises to afford you a great networking opportunity. You can renew old acquaintances and make new friends and contacts. So don’t be shy. A group of REALTOR® AEs this large gathers only once a year and it’s here, at the AE Institute.

You'd be remiss to not take advantage of the resources at your disposal for pursuing the REALTOR® association Certified Executive (RCE) designation. The Institute is the perfect place to start the designation process.

Read through the brochure and start planning your 2009 AE Institute experience today. I look forward to being with you in Colorado Springs next March.
