ULSTER COUNTY BOARD OF REALTORS® (Kingston, NY)
800 member Association seeks a new Association Executive to lead its organization and multiple listing service. Incumbent will report to two separate boards of directors. Knowledge of multiple listing service operations is a must; knowledge of REALTOR® Association professional standards processes and administration is preferred.

Individual must have excellent oral communication skills to act as spokesperson for the organization and to build its public relations efforts in the community. Strong financial management and ability to develop creative and innovative programs to gain membership involvement is crucial.

Minimum 5 years Executive experience required; college degree preferred. RCE or CAE designation is a plus. ARCADIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
Executive Vice President (EVP) is responsible for the effective administration of the Arcadia AOR. The EVP recommends and participates in formulating the Association’s mission, vision, goals, objectives and related policies. Within that framework, the EVP plans, organizes, coordinates, controls and directs the Association’s programs, services and activities and reports to the Board of Directors – specifically to the President.

Knowledge of and experience managing professional associations and/or other nonprofit organizations, organizational skills, including demonstrated attention to detail, ability to take initiative and be a self-starter; ability to efficiently schedule time and activities; ability to maintain effectiveness in varying environments and with varying tasks, responsibilities or people. Ability to maintain the financial viability of the Association through budgeting, monitoring and reporting performances; excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated computer and technical skills, flexibility to travel to meetings as required by the Board of Directors.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, RCE or CAE designations a plus.

CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
We have an immediate opening in Real Estate Business Services, Inc., a subsidiary of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, for an Education Manager to manage the development and growth of C.A.R. Educational Services. This position:

  • Develops and implements the business plan and related budget, markets the program offerings, and develops new and related business opportunities.
  • Evaluates the educational needs of the membership, based on industry and market trends and state regulations, and assesses how REBS/C.A.R. can address and/or satisfy those needs.
  • Facilitates and oversees communication and promotion of educational services with the membership, Associations of REALTORS®, committee members, and internal departments and subsidiaries.
  • Obtains CE course approval from Department of Real Estate via submission of all applicable paperwork for all instructors, whether for live classes or web based.
  • Develops and maintains a product budget, meets monthly budgetary objectives, oversees issuing instructor payments and vendor or partner royalty payments.
  • Monitors real estate training market trends and seeks to exploit opportunities as markets change.
  • Acts as staff liaison to the local Associations for educational services, schedules courses and handles all course material updates, and keeps the local Associations informed of any changes.
  • Maintains ongoing partnerships with CAR Education Partners (education vendors and instructors).
  • Maintains and posts content and course information on the C.A.R. website and with outside vendor websites as appropriate.
  • Oversees and manages the daily activities of the Education staff and conducts annual reviews.

A Bachelor’s degree is required (Marketing, Business or related field). Must have 5+ years of professional experience, particularly in business planning, product management, curriculum development and education/training a plus. Must be highly effective at “multi-tasking,” working with different people and projects, have excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding customer service and critical thinking skills. Requires computer proficiency with Internet research and business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Some overnight travel.

Position:
Association Executive
Seeking to fill position of Association Executive to serve board consisting of 4000+ members. IVAR serves a broad geographic region and serves a diverse membership in the very competitive Southern California real estate market.
Partial List of Responsibilities:

  1. Manage association’s daily operations per the direction of the Association Board of Directors
    • Oversee IVAR staff
    • Manage the fiscal integrity of the organization
    • Ensure association is in compliance with good corporate governance standards
  2. Collaborate with the Board of Directors by assisting in strategic and financial planning
    • Coordinate with the Board and staff on development of a strategic plan and creating an association budget
    • Assist with Board of Directors’ meeting preparation and discussion
    • Regularly report to the Board regarding IVAR and its initiatives
  3. Provide direction and leadership toward achieving IVAR’s mission, as well as the association’s annual goals and objectives.
    • Work with corporate partners to support initiatives that further IVAR’s housing mission

    • Serve as an ambassador to ensure that IVAR’s interests are represented at National and State meetings and conventions

Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree; preferably in Business or Management
  • A real estate background is beneficial, but not required
  • Must have a minimum four years management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must demonstrate aptitude in progressing computer technology
  • Must be open to reference and background check

Position: Largest (non-union) trade organization in NW Ohio, is seeking a new Association Executive.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage membership, community, and be actively involved in governmental affairs.
  • Provide leadership in the development of the association’s statement of vision, mission, and goals, and the corresponding strategies, plans and budgets to achieve them.
  • Develop and provide appropriate policy recommendations for consideration by the board.
  • Ensure that an annual plan and budget are prepared for and presented to the board of directors.
  • Present a written report for all board meetings.
  • Administrate and oversee a staff of 5, 1,350 members, and an approximate annual budget of 1.2 million with assets of 2.6 million.
  • Perform such other duties as are prescribed in writing from time to time by the board of directors.

Qualifications:

  • College degree desirable.
  • A Real Estate background is beneficial, but not required.
  • Must have three years management experience including human resources and finance.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written are necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills; high degree of confidentiality required.

Salary and benefits ranging from $70,000-$85,000.
