Roadmap for New AEs : References and Resources
NAR REFERENCES AND RESOURCES
Where can I get more information online?
The Association Executives' Audience Pages here on REALTOR.org are your main online resource for the latest AE news and information, policies, research, and events. Visit this site every day for updates and information.
The Internal News Service (INS) is a weekly e-mail and online newsletter covering NAR and industry developments, including government affairs updates, housing data, meeting reminders, and other essential information for AEs. The report is e-mailed to all AEs listed in NRDS. AEs are welcome to forward this report to their members, post it on their association Web sites, or reprint any info from it in their print publications. There are two separate Internal News Service e-mail reports: the weekly report (above) and the Marketplace INS Report. Marketplace is a monthly e-mail highlighting new NAR programs, products, and services. Archives for both INS reports are available here (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
REALTOR Association Executive magazine (RAE)
is NAR's official journal for REALTOR® association management. This quarterly publication helps AEs better serve their REALTOR® members by providing in-depth features covering local, state, and national association programs and activities, as well as executive profiles, technology, current trends, products, ideas in association management, and their practical applications. Issues are mailed to all AEs listed in NRDS. Article archives for RAE magazine from 1994 to the present are also available online.

A must-have reference for every REALTOR® association executive, The Answer Book is a comprehensive compilation of REALTOR® association management information and a valuable resource for volunteer leadership. It offers a wealth of information you can use in all of your day-to-day association operations and is the primary reference for the RCE designation examination and the REALTOR® Association Management Self-Study Course.
Where Can I Find Other AEs?
The REALTOR® Organization Directory of State and Local Associations is a database that includes detailed information on all state and local REALTOR® associations, and regional MLSs. Always make sure your association's information is up-to-date -- including your e-mail address, your staff specialists' names and e-mail addresses, and the names and contact information of your association presidents and president elects. This database is linked to your NRDS data, so everything you put in NRDS will also appear in this database, there's no need to enter information twice. NAR uses this database of associations to create e-mail lists and mailing lists to send you valuable National Association news and products. NAR does not rent or sell association e-mails to anyone, but association mailing addresses can be rented to marketers.
