A licensed Realtor® since 1989, Barbara manages her practice in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.  She is an active and successful Broker and attained her lifetime achievement award in 2010 from RE/MAX International.  Her Residential and Commercial Real Estate Portfolio includes working with buyers from; Austria, Germany, Scotland, London, Asia, the US and South Africa. 

She has a passion for travel, culture and architecture. From the mysterious underground caves in Ireland to England’s most prestigious Castles…she has amassed a wealth of experience and built relationships across the Continents. 

Her teaching career began in 1997 at the Ontario Real Estate Association where she instructed Phase II and Phase III to new licensees.  Many of her students were of Russian and Asian descent, which ignited her passion working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.  When mandatory continuing education evolved, she presented the RECO Legal Update Course and the Code of Ethics for OREA throughout Ontario.  She has an exceptional ability to relate to her audience and speaks with clarity, conviction, insight and empathy. 

She quickly became a sought after speaker, and from 2000-2007 she mentored thousands of Realtors® across Canada working with the Real Estate Training Institute.  Barbara is a lifelong learner committed to continuous self-improvement.  Some of her accomplishments include; certification in public speaking through the Dale Carnegie program, NLP practitioner, student of the Strategic Coach, distinguished Toastmaster, ADR* Certified through Queen’s University and she studied Law in 2010/11 and became a  Licenced Paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada. 

She is a certified Instructor for the National Association of Realtors® and facilitates numerous designation programs; ABR, SRES, CRB and CIPS.
