Dairell Snapp

Dairell J. Snapp, a REALTOR® from Stuart, Fla., was the 2012 Vice President and Liaison to Committees for the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

Snapp is president and owner of Dairell J. Snapp Realty in Stuart, Fla., a commercial and investment real estate brokerage specializing in land sales and development, since 1978.

At the national level, Snapp has served as an Executive Committee representative for the Board of Directors since 2007. He was a member of the REALTORS® Commercial Alliance Committee from 2004 to 2008. From 2005 to 2006, Snapp served as a Commercial Board Representative. He chaired the Real Property Operations Committee in 1999 and oversaw the expansion and remodeling of our National Headquarters building at 430 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. He has served on NAR’s Board of Directors since 1990.

At the state level, Snapp served as president of the Florida Association of REALTORS® in 1998 and president-elect in 1997. In 1988, he held the position of Regional Vice President. Snapp was elected Treasurer in 1990 and 1996. He was awarded a lifetime appointment to the Florida REALTORS® Board of Directors, having actively served on the Board since 1983.

Snapp is a member of the REALTORS® Association of the Palm Beaches and served as President of the West Palm Beach Association of REALTORS® in 1986. He was selected as REALTOR® of the Year in 1985. In 1984, Snapp was named Treasurer and he served on the Board of Directors from 1982 to 1988.

Snapp received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate and urban planning from the University of Florida. Snapp has served numerous Boards at the University of Florida including the Real Estate Advisory Council and the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Florida Foundation and Chairs the Regional Advisory Council, filling both positions 2005. Married to his wife Laurene, together they have five children and one grandchild.
