Doug Hinderer was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Association Leadership Development at the National Association of REALTORS® until 2017. He has 34+ years of experience in Human Resources and had been with the Association for the 23+ years. Prior to joining NAR, he held a number of HR positions in the for-profit sector. Doug has a B.S. degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, and has done extensive graduate work in the area of Organizational Communication. In 1995, he earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from the Society for Human Resources Management. This certification is awarded after completing a thorough course of study and passing a comprehensive exam.
In 2010, he earned his REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation.
Doug has had articles published on Human Resources topics in both REALTOR® Association Executive and REALTOR® Magazine.
Doug is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Association Forum and Society of Association Executives.
