Jan Ellingson teaches the The Business of U.S. Real Estate for the CIPS designation, and the Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Broker Price Opinion Resource, Green, Graduate Realtor Institute, Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource, and the Senior Real Estate Specialist designations.  She also teaches the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Designation Courses, Professional Standards, Ethics, At Home With Diversity, Mortgage Fraud, Home Staging, Environmental Hazards, HAFA, the Washington licensing courses of CORE and Transition, along with classes she has written. 

She is currently serving as the NAR President’s Liaison to New Zealand, and is the Vice-Chair of the Professional Standards Forum at NAR.  Jan has been honored with her local and state REALTOR® of the Year awards, and was named Instructor of the Year by Washington REALTORS® in 2006, as well as receiving the EDDY Award for her contributions to excellence in real estate education.  She was honored with the S.W.A.N. Business and Professional Woman of the Year for her commitment to her community and for mentoring other women in business.

Further, she is a member of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR); Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB), Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), served on the Northwest Multiple Listing Service Disciplinary Review Board, the Governor’s RCW 18.85 License Law Review Task Force, the Advisory Board to the Skagit County Planning and Development Department, and is a past Commissioner and Vice-Chair of the Skagit County Planning Commission.
