Born in China; lived in Hong Kong; educated in Canada; and having worked in the U.S. since 1974, May Wan’s real estate expertise is in acquisition and finance. May is fluent in Chinese, speaking Mandarin, Cantonese plus two other major dialects. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, May worked for a number of multinational companies building and honing her skills in global transactions.

Since 2001, May has been a Washington State certified real estate Instructor of continuing education for the Washington REALTORS® and the Seattle King County Association of REALTORS®.  In addition to teaching her own courses, May is a certified instructor of NAR courses.  Most recently, May was approved as an instructor of the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation courses.   

May is the Past President of the Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce and a Founding Board Member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Washington  Chapter.  A life-long community volunteer, May is the proud recipient of the 2007 Seattle King County Association of REALTORS® Affiliate Community Service Award.
