About Argentina and Local Sponsor
Argentine Republic
Argentina is located in the southern extreme of South America. Argentina is the second largest country in South America and the eighth in the world. Argentina has exceptional natural beauties, for it comprises a diverse territory of mountains, plateaux and plains with all the climatic variations. Argentina's cultural roots are mainly European and that is clearly reflected in its architecture, music, literature and lifestyle. It has an intense cultural activity. It is seen in the festivities, expositions, cinemas, theatres, and concerts that take place in the principal cities. The characteristic music of the city of Buenos Aires is the world-famous tango. Folklore includes several and varid rythms and styles according to the different regions of the country.
The typical Argentine food is asado (barbecue: meat cooked over live coals), apart from empanadas (a sort of turnover meat pie or pastry that comes with a variety of other stuffings), tamales ( a dish made of corn meal, chicken or meat wrapped in corn husks), humita (dish made of grated corn, sweet peppers and tomatoes wrapped in the green leaves of corn) and locro (dish made of meat, potato, pumpkin, corn and sweet pepper). Our country characteristic drink is mate (infusion). The quality of its wines and meats is worldly known and the new Argentine cuisine has reached an international level standing out due to its qualified chefs.

Buenos Aires City
The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires is the Federal District of the Republic of Argentina and the most important cosmopolitan urban center in the country. As long as European architecture is concerned, many streets recall those of Paris. Its numerous museums, exposition and comference centres, art galleries, cinemas and theatres with high level national and international spectacles are witnesses of its important cultural life. The Colon Theatre, one of the most important lyrical theatres in the world, is seat, together with some other scenaries, of an intense musical activity that comprises all genres including, of course, the famous and typical Tango; besides, the city is frequently visited by orchestras, groups and soloists from all over the world.
Financial, stock-exchange and economical seat of the country, Buenos Aires is the principal port of the nation. It has an intense commercial activity, reflected in numerous shops of the main worldfamous branches, shop centres and commercial shoppings. Its nightlife is quite varied and extends up to the ealy hours. Discos, restaurants, cafeterias and many other attractions for all tastes are spread all around the city offering the tourist a large number of options. Its accomodation capacity ranges from luxurious 5 stars hotels belonging to international chains up to modest lodgings, including all economic levels.

CMCPSI
The Colegio de Martilleros y Corredores Públicos del Departamento Judicial de San Isidro was founded through the initiative and willful determination of a group of men and women who worked collectively to raise the standards of the real estate related professions. The Colegio includes professionals from the following cities: Vicente López, San Isidro, San Fernando, Tigre and Pilar. These municipalities encompass the so called "Zona Norte" of the Buenos Aires province, its most prosperous region with diversified and high-end real estate developments.
The Colegio is one of the oldest in the Buenos Aires province with almost a thousand licensed active members or affiliates.
