Realtor.org Access: If you are a member of NAR, but not yet registered for Realtor.org access, locate a copy of your REALTOR® Magazine and then register. (You'll need information provided on the mailing label from your magazine to register.) For further assistance, call NAR Information Central at 800-874-6500 (U.S./Canada). Members of NAR's CIPS Network who reside outside the US or Canada can e-mail NAR International for assistance in registering. E-mail Subscriptions NAR's Realtor.org offers a Weekly Newsletter that allows anyone with access to the site sign up to receive a weekly e-mail blurb with information specific to the topic or topics selected. "International" is one of approximately 15 topics available and its a great way to stay abreast of news and information from NAR International and also to let you know of new information that has been posted at this Web site. You may also choose to subscribe to the monthly "International Real Estate Report", that is delivered via email. Users may select as many topics or newsletters as they wish, and may unsubscribe at any time. There is no charge. Sign up now for these list-serves and newsletters at the NAR Profile Page. You will be prompted for your Realtor.org user ID and password.
International Real Estate Report (monthly) NAR publishes a monthly electronic newsletter focusing on global resources for local markets for US REALTORS® called the International Real Estate Report. Information contained in the new electronic newsletter may be used in local REALTOR® association newsletters, web sites, or member personal marketing materials. If you are interested in subscribing to this newsletter email, access the NAR Profile Page. You will be prompted for your Realtor.org user ID and password.
Periodic E-mail News Updates from NAR
On a periodic basis, NAR sends an e-mail to CIPS Network members with timely information updates about Network activities and other information to keep members up to date on business opportunities and resources. E-mails that focus on a specific market or regional are also sent to those members who have indicated a specialization in that country/region. Members can update their country specializations by contacting NAR International.
Global Perspectives in Real Estate is the newly re-designed and expanded 16-page quarterly professional newsletter of the CIPS Network. The publication includes global statistics, in-depth analysis on international real estate markets, news and data on global, economic and political trends. Also included are highlights from international education and networking events. It is mailed free of charge to all CIPS Network members as a benefit of membership. Copies are also sent to NAR's Cooperating Associations (presidents and association executives), U.S. Local International Councils and targeted U.S. and foreign embassies and multinational organizations. Interested authors should review the writers' guidelines before submitting an article. Feedback regarding the newsletter is encouraged, as are requests for information on advertising. Search for archived articles from past issues.
Global Perspectives in Real Estateis available for subscription to non-CIPS Network members! NAR offers subscriptions to "Global Perspectives" to individuals NOT affiliated with the CIPS Network (CIPS Network members receive the publication for free as part of their annual dues). Prepackaged Sales Meetings for Brokers NAR has created a series of modules to help brokers provide - through regularly scheduled sales meetings - an introduction to global market transaction elements. The prepackaged sales meetings are very easy to download and teach. Sales associates can learn the basics of working with international clients in the local market. International Affiliate Membership Programs Several of NAR's Cooperating Associations offer affiliate membership programs for real estate practitioners who live in other countries. Affiliate Membership offers you added exposure to participating countries' referral networks and directories.
