Article: NAR Leads Industry Expansion Worldwide
NAR's membership in the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) provides value and specific products and services to each individual NAR member. Only members of NAR may take advantage of these benefits. NAR receives regular inquires from individual members asking how they "may join ICREA."
To help state and local REALTOR® associations educate members about ICREA and the products and services automatically available to them through their NAR membership, the article below has been prepared for reprint in state and local REALTOR® publications or through other communication venues of the REALTOR® association's choosing. This article was included in the July 2003 Promotion Packet sent to all REALTOR® associations by NAR's Marketing Group. A number of state-specific articles are also available below.

State/Board Customized Articles The general article on ICREA services for NAR members has been customized for 16 states, selected based on the amount of international real estate activity within the state. REALTOR® associations in these states are encouraged to review and reconfirm the state-specific information referenced in the article and to add additional information. EOs from states for which a customized article was not prepared can create one of their own by inserting data specific to their state into the generic version above. Local associations in large metropolitan areas can also create thir own custom article by inserting local and regional data. Local association may wish to check with their state association to coordinate plans for distribution of this information within a state.
