Chris Anderson is a forward-looking speaker who explores the effect of new technology on business. His first book, The Long Tail, discusses how the Internet undermined blockbuster-culture and created an economy of targeted niche products.
Anderson's newest book, Makers, focuses on how new technologies, including 3D printing, are becoming available to everybody and how people are building successful businesses because of them. He discusses how these technologies are creating a desktop manufacturing industry, which will ultimately impact people's needs in terms of residential and commercial real estate spaces. |
