|PLANTATION LIFE TOUR
Enjoy a tour of Louisiana's past, up scenic River Road to two of the most historic and picturesque of the famed Mississippi River plantations. Prepare to enter the Creole World of Laura Plantation, where you will hear the stories of seven generations of the Creole owners, women, children and slaves who called this sugar cane plantation their home.
On the tour of Laura Plantation, view Laura's colorful manor house, her Louisiana antiques and her formal French Gardens and historic outbuildings. Then proceed to Oak Alley Plantation, the "Grande Dame of the Great River Road," where the quarter-mile canopy of giant live oak trees forms an unforgettable avenue leading to the Greek-revival style antebellum home.
