GENERAL SESSION
with LANCE ARMSTRONG
Saturday, Nov. 8, 4:00pm-6:00pm
Sponsored by:

Dick Gaylord
2008 NAR President
Lance Armstrong

Get Motivated to make the coming year the best in your work and life!
Lance Armstrong, seven time Tour de France winner and cancer survivor, will present his message, "Choose to be a Champion in Life".
Armstrong was at the top his game when he was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer that had spread to his lungs and brain. With the odds very much against him, he not only beat cancer, but went on to win the Tour de France -- seven times.
His winning attitude allowed him to think beyond cycling and focus on his debt to the cancer community, forming the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the "Live Strong" campaign.

The General Session also includes an industry address by NAR's 100th President, Dick Gaylord, and recognition of the REALTORS® of the Year and 2008 Good Neighbor Award Winners. You'll be ready to go FULL SPEED AHEAD to new heights after this inspiring program!

Life Changes in an Instant
A child in a car accident, a spouse's request for divorce, a stroke, breast cancer diagnosis, or a terrorist attack on a warm September day -- our lives can change unexpectedly in an instant.
When Lee Woodruff's husband Bob Woodruff, a new ABC World News Tonight co-anchor, was hit by a roadside bomb while covering the war in Iraq, Lee's life changed in an instant. She had to learn to put her own grief aside to care for their children, as well as for her husband, who was gravely injured and close to death.
Lee Woodruff speaks with grace and humor about her family's experience and how they chose to attack their crisis, resulting in a life-changing journey of love, healing and miracles for her whole family.

Back for a fifth appearance with us, Tom Tipton's remarkable experiences speak for themselves....successful business man, winning athlete, trusted friend of historic figures such as Hubert Humphrey and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, social activist, guest soloist for Chuck Colson Prison Fellowship and Billy Graham Washington D.C. Crusade and 25 years as a powerful singer for Robert Schuller's ministry. You're sure to enjoy Tom's beautiful renditions of the old hymns.
Don't miss this program that includes a non-denominational service, beautiful music, and an inspiring guest speaker.
