NEW ORLEANS CITY TOUR

Get ready to experience a special, panoramic view of “The City That Care Forgot.” Today, you will explore the unique architecture, history and folklore of the colorful city of New Orleans as you board your personal deluxe motor coach with an informative and entertaining tour guide.

You will begin the tour in the heart of the City, the “Vieux Carré” (old square). The French Quarter is like a rich gumbo, created with just the right combination of ingredients – charm, history, unique architecture and a pinch of “joie de vivre” thrown in for good measure.

Next, you will proceed down fabulous Esplanade Avenue past its many historic mansions. Esplanade is where you will tour one of the city’s famous and hauntingly beautiful cemeteries, with above ground tombs and ornate statuary.

Then, you will head north through lovely Mid-City to the majestic City Park and Lake Pontchartrain.

Your route back towards the river will follow historic St. Charles Avenue, which is lined with magnificent 19th century mansions designed by famous American architects.
