Kasarda is the leading developer of the Aerotropolis concept defining the roles of aviation and airports in shaping 21st century business location, economic development and urban growth. He is Kenan Distinguished Professor of Strategy and Director of the Center for Air Commerce at UNC, has published more than 100 articles and 10 books on aviation infrastructure, logistics and urban development.
