A 2008 survey indicates that REALTORS® with the CIPS Designation earn twice as much as those without the designation, so don't delay in completing your CIPS.

Global Referrals

You will receive a complimentary copy of the CIPS Network Membership Directory. This directory is distributed to members in more than 60 countries, counterparts at more than 80 Cooperating Associations (also known as bilateral partners), foreign embassies, World Trade Centers, and foreign chambers of commerce in the U.S. and abroad. All Network members are included in the directory.

Personal Contacts

The CIPS Network provides you with personal contacts in over 60 countries through the directory. Network members are also encouraged to join our groups on social networking sites such as Facebook or www.realestateconnections.tv.

Networking Opportunities

As a member of the CIPS Network, you will be provided with numerous opportunities to network with overseas counterparts, CIPS designees and CIPS candidates. The largest opportunity each year is NAR Conference and Expo. Over 1,500 international delegates attend the REALTORS® Conference & Expo each year. Approximately 1 in every 12 registrants is from outside the U.S. The International Networking Center offers a networking area, and scheduled, informal networking opportunities for each country within the conference's expo floor.

You will also receive invitations to exclusive events at NAR meetings, including the International Welcome Reception and the International Night Out at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo. Once you earn your CIPS designation, you also receive access to market your listings at Property Marketing Sessions and an invitation to attend a CIPS Breakfast, an exclusive networking event for CIPS designees.

Market Information

CIPS Network members can obtain real estate market information on nearly 100 countries. By visiting the Global Alliances, you can access this information, and receive country profiles for dozens of countries.

As a member you will also receive free subscription to the Global Perspectives newsletter. This newsletter is packed with cost-saving tips and the latest international practical and insightful information to expand your global business.

CIPS Directory Online Listing

All CIPS Network members receive a free online listing in the CIPS Directory, available to consumers and practitioners at REALTOR.org and REALTOR.com. Designee listings are highlighted and include both a bio and photo. Buyers and sellers involved with international real estate transactions are encouraged to work with members of CIPS Network who have earned their CIPS Designation.

Based on country specialization information you provide the CIPS Network, you will receive global market news briefs relevant to your interests. This information is e-mailed periodically and includes links to the full story.
