CONTINUING EDUCATION
Four courses were submitted to numerous states for Continuing Education credit approval. State-by-state approvals and related details are listed below.


You will be able to enroll in this class online between August 5th at noon (Central Time) and October 7th at 5pm (Central Time). Your conference registration number, last name and credit card are all you need to use the online system to enroll in the class.


Courses are open to all Full Conference and Same Day Registrants. Advance Continuing Education Fee: $20 per course.


Advance enrollment is required ONLY for attendees taking the class for C.E. credit. PRESENT class ticket, a photo i.d. and your real estate license number at class check-in table to receive required c.e. credit attendance form.

Non-credit general admission will be first-come, first served, based upon seating availability.

4. CE04: Shift Happens: Adapting to the Shifting Communication Needs of Today's Consumers (Advance C.E. Enrollment Required)

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds
Cancellations, transfers and refund requests must be made in writing prior to October 7, 2008. No refunds will be made after this date. No refunds will be made on-site.

Onsite C.E. course completion requirements:

ALL STATES REQUIRE that you:
 
1) ARRIVE 15 minutes prior to the start time of the course (latecomers will not receive credit).
2) VERIFY your state's requirements below
3) CHECK IN and REQUEST attendance documentation from the course proctor
4) BRING your real estate license number and driver's license or other picture i.d. to class
5) REMAIN in the classroom for the entire course
6) COMPLETE and RETURN the attendance form and the course evaluation form to the proctor AT THE END of the course

ALABAMA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize these courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

ALASKA: Courses are not approved.

ARIZONA: CE01 (general), CE02 (contract law), CE03 (disclosure) and CE04 (general) are approved for 3 credit hours.

ARKANSAS: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

CALIFORNIA: CE01, CE02, CE03 and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE01 and CE04 are approved in the category of Consumer Service. CE02 and CE03 are approved in the category of Consumer Protection. "These courses are approved for continuing education credit by the California Department of Real Estate. However, this approval does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions which are expressed by the course sponsor, instructor, authors or lecturers." An online evaluation of courses and instructors is available on the DRE's Website at www.dre.ca.gov. The online evaluation can be accessed by selecting "Course & Instructor Evaluation," located in the lower right portion of the homepage. The student can submit the evaluation to DRE by selecting "Send Your Evaluation to the DRE" at the bottom of the page.

COLORADO: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Based on a review of the Colorado revised statutes 12-61-110.5(3) these classes qualify for elective credits. See the Commission’s website, Click Here for additional details.

CONNECTICUT: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

WASHINGTON, D.C.: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

DELAWARE: Courses are not approved.

FLORIDA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

GEORGIA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE 04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

HAWAII: CE01 (elective) and CE03 (elective) are approved for 3 credit hours. CE02 and CE04 were denied approval.

IDAHO: CE01 (elective), CE02 (elective), CE03 (elective), and CE04 (elective) are approved for 3 credit hours.

ILLINOIS: CE 01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. NOTE: The Illinois required exam will be given at the end of each course. You will be required to provide both your IL real estate license number and your social security number on the exam. The Illinois Association of REALTORS® is sponsoring Illinois approved continuing education courses.

INDIANA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

IOWA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.
Will recognize these courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

KANSAS: Licensees may make an individual request for real estate education credit directly to the Kansas Real Estate Commission. Use the Individual Request for Real Estate Education Form, include a check for $10.00 payable to K.R.E.C. an outline, brochure, or other document thoroughly describing the course content, background information on the instructor/s and a copy of your course completion certificate. Kansas licensees seeking CE for these courses must register with NAR to receive the attendance certificate needed to submit the CE request to the Kansas Real Estate Commission. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to receive a confirmation of credit.

KENTUCKY: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

LOUISIANA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

MAINE: Licensees may request continuing education credits by directly applying to the Maine Real Estate Commission. Requests must include: 1) a completed MREC application; 2) a check for $10.00; 3) A certificate of completion issued to and showing the name of the licensee, name of the course sponsor, number of class hours earned, and signature of the course sponsor; AND 4) A copy of the course outline (i.e. informational brochure with course description). NOTE: Course must be at least 2 hours to be considered for credit. Maine licensees seeking CE for these courses must register with NAR to receive the attendance certificate needed to submit the CE request to the Maine Real Estate Commission.

MARYLAND: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours each in topic (f). Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

MASSACHUSETTS: State requirements preclude us from offering c.e. to Massachusetts licensees.

MICHIGAN: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

MINNESOTA: Licensees may request continuing education credits by contacting the Department of Commerce/Licensing Division, Lisa Rinehart at 651.296.6319. Submit a certificate of completion, course description from the final program, the required Minnesota form and any additional information required by the Minnesota Department of Commerce/Licensing Division. Minnesota licensees seeking CE for these courses must register with NAR to receive the attendance certificate needed to submit the CE request to the Minnesota Dept of Commerce/Licensing Division.

MISSISSIPPI: CE01, CE02 and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE03 is approved for 6 credit hours.

MISSOURI: Licensees may request elective continuing education credit by direct application on an approved form (MO419-204T (9-94) to the MO Real Estate Commission. Accompanying the application should be: 1) a check for $10.00 made payable to the MREC; 2) a legible copy of the course completion certificate issued to and showing the name of the licensee, name of course sponsor, number of class hours earned, and signature of the sponsor's representative; 3) self-addressed stamped envelope; and 4) copy of advertisement or other short description of course content. MO licensees seeking CE for these courses must register with NAR to receive an attendance certificate to submit with an individual CE request to the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

MONTANA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

NEBRASKA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

NEVADA: CE01, CE03 and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE02 is still pending approval, TBA in October.

NEW HAMPSHIRE: CE01 and CE03 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE02 is approved for 2 credit hours. CE 04 was denied approval.

NEW JERSEY: Has no current requirement for continuing education.

NEW MEXICO: CE01, CE02 and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE03 was approved for 4 credit hours.

NEW YORK: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

NORTH CAROLINA: State requirements preclude us from offering C.E. credit to North Carolina licensees. Courses must be a minimum of 4 credit hours to obtain approval.

NORTH DAKOTA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

OHIO: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

OKLAHOMA: Licensees may make an individual request for real estate education credit directly to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. Use the Individual Request for Real Estate Continuing Education Credit Form, a course outline, brochure, or other document thoroughly describing the course content, background information on the instructor/s and a copy of your course completion certificate. Oklahoma licensees seeking CE for these courses must register with NAR to receive the attendance certificate needed to submit the CE request to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.

OREGON: Verify with your broker, prior to registering for C.E. attendance documentation, whether or not any of the courses will be acceptable for Oregon credits.

PENNSYLVANIA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

RHODE ISLAND: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

SOUTH CAROLINA: CE01, CE02, and CE03 are approved for 3 credit hours. CE04 was denied approval.

SOUTH DAKOTA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize these courses as approved by the host state, Florida.

TENNESSEE: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

TEXAS: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Sponsored by the Texas Association of REALTORS®, provider #0001.

UTAH: CE 01 and CE 03 are pre-approved for 3 credits. Licensees may complete a non-certified application for CE 02 and CE 04. Use the Non-Certified C.E. Credit Request Form, a course outline, brochure, or other document thoroughly describing the course content, background information on the instructor/s and a copy of your course completion certificate. Utah licensees seeking C.E. credit for these courses must register with NAR to receive the attendance certificate needed to submit the CE request to the Utah Real Estate Commission.

VERMONT: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

VIRGINIA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Courses are sponsored by the Virginia Association of REALTORS®.

WEST VIRGINIA: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours.

WISCONSIN: State requirements preclude us from offering C.E. to Wisconsin licensees.

WYOMING: CE01, CE02, CE03, and CE04 are approved for 3 credit hours. Will recognize courses as approved by the host state, Florida.
