Global Programs for Associations (Advance Enrollment Required)
05/14/2013 | 08:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Washington Hilton Hotel, Cabinet Room
Association staff and volunteers interested in developing and growing global programs in your association and preparing REALTORS® to succeed in a global marketplace should consider attending this course. We will help you understand the value of educating members on the growing global marketplace and how to take advantage of it locally. The discussion will make you aware of the resources, program opportunities, and support available from the National Association of REALTORS®. You will begin to develop a business and governance model that fits best with your association's current structure.
Additional take aways include: an understanding of the value a global program provides to everyone in the real estate community; preparing you to sell the concept to your board of directors and/or finance committee and how to identify creative sources for funding and program support from within their community.
This is one of the required courses for association staff to earn the CIPS Designation and it counts as points on the Designation Application for REALTORS®.
Course fee is $95.00 US. Class size is limited. Enroll online when you register for the Midyear Meetings, or add to your registration at a later time. You will need your Midyear registration confirmation number and credit card information to enroll in the course at a later date. On-site sales are subject to availability. Bring their confirmation document to the class check in table. Written cancellation requests must be received no later than April, 15, 2013.
