University of Chicago Strategies in Nonprofit Management Certificate Program: Leadership in Changing Times (core course)

Friday, March 16, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: Julia Fabris McBride, PCC, Director of Coaching & Alumni Engagement, Kansas Leadership Center, Wichita, KS

Successful leaders require courage and a clear sense of purpose to help their staff and members address today's challenges. This intensive course draws on the writings of notable authors to understand how individual leaders and organizations can stay flexible, resilient, and forward-looking as they meet the challenges of 21st century association management.

Interactive exercises and discussions help participants apply leadership theory and the "Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership" to their own work, and put the five practices into action at their association. Attendance is worth 6 points on your RCE ADF.

Registration Fee: $350 for certificate program enrollees; $250 for non-certificate enrollees

AE Institute Unconference

Friday, March 16, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Back for its second year, this participant-driven event puts the reigns of the conference in your hands. Similar to a roundtable event where topics are determined onsite, unconference topics are determined by you, the unconference participants, in a very informal setting.

As the topics are generated, you choose what topic you want to learn more about and then head to a discussion area to learn more about that topic. All experience levels are encouraged to participate.

This AE Institute Unconference will give you an opportunity to learn, create, and share new and innovative ideas with a talented group of REALTOR® association executives from across the country. Be a part of this unconference and be a part of something special!
