Hotel accommodations for 2013 AE Institute are available to all attendees at the headquarters hotel at the rate of $186 per night.

Attendees will book their hotel reservations online as they register online for the AE Institute. Do not contact the Manchester Hyatt directly to secure hotel accommodations. The only way to book a hotel room is via the online AE Institute registration process. The deadline to confirm your housing is Feb. 15, 2013.

Airline Information

Receive a 2-10% discount on United Airlines, United Express and United codeshare flights operated by Lufthansa and All Nippon Airways.  Good for travel three days before and three days after the meeting. Tickets may also be booked by calling United Meetings at 800/426-1122 (In USA or Canada), but there will be a $25 service fee for tickets issued via phone. The Meeting Desk is available 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST Saturday and Sunday.

Car Rental

Avis, Budget, and Hertz have been appointed the official car rental companies for the AEI 2013 in San Diego from March 12–21, 2013. NAR has negotiated special rates for the meeting.

Airport Transportation

You will fly into the San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is about 15 minutes from the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is approximately $15–$20. Sedan service is also available from the following companies:

Temperature

San Diego in mid-March averages a low temperature of 52 degrees Fahrenheit and a high temperature of 66 degrees Fahrenheit. San Diego averages 1.6” of rain during the month of March, so come prepared. As in any location, the weather can change at a moment’s notice. A commemorative 2013 AEI clothing item, such as a fleece vest or sweater, would make a nice addition to your Institute wardrobe. See the online registration form for ordering information.
