Welcome by 2013 President – Gary Thomas

This year the Leadership Summit features a workshop specifically designed to encourage dialogue and open minds about thinking big for our future. 2013 NAR President Gary Thomas encourages everyone to "Reach for Success."

REThink Experience

Hosted by NAR’s Strategic Planning Committee

Day one of the Summit will be an interactive workshop where everyone will have the opportunity to explore and discuss different versions of what the future holds for our association and our industry. To get the most out of REThink, we ask that you sit with people you don’t know on the first day and with your president-elect on the second day of the summit. We also encourage you to review a few materials prior to the REThink workshop to get the most out of the experience.

The REThink experience is part of NAR’s strategic planning process calling on Summit attendees to “rethink the future of real estate.” The aim of the initiative is to engage industry leaders, partners and members in a conversation about where you see the future of real estate. The Leadership Summit is the launching point. Between August 2012 and May 2013 cross country workshops will held.  The final workshop will be held prior to the Midyear Meetings in May 2013, and a preliminary report will be issued.  A final plan will be published and released at the 2013 Annual Conference.

Enter a lottery to host a REThink event at your association; the drawing will be held during Leadership Summit. Download the application form today.
