The National Association's 2013 Professional Standards Education Seminar will be held in Chicago on Aug. 22–23, 2013.

About the Seminar

The seminar includes, but is not limited to, instruction on:

• Due process
• Procuring cause
• Mediation
• The role of the grievance committee, hearing panel, and board of directors
• Writing an ethics decision

There will also be a question and answer session with experienced REALTOR® professional standards instructors joined by staff of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Day-of registration and continental breakfast will be available at 7:30 a.m. Thursday. The seminar begins on Thursday at 8 a.m, and concludes no later than noon Friday.

Seminar participants will receive credit toward the RCE designation or toward re-certification. The course does not fulfill the educational requirements for Professional Standards Administrator training.

Attendees' successful completion will be recognized; however, no certification status is conferred. It is recommended that attendees have at least five years experience in Code of Ethics enforcement.
