The Professional Standards Education Seminar will be held in Chicago on Aug. 21 and 22, 2014.
The National Association of REALTORS® has sponsored and conducted this seminar at least once a year for decades and the program has been overwhelmingly well received by all who attend.
About the Seminar
The seminar includes, but is not limited to, instruction on:
- Due process
- Procuring cause
- The role of the grievance committee, hearing panel, and board of directors
- Writing an ethics decision
There will also be a question and answer session with experienced REALTOR® professional standards instructors joined by staff of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Continental breakfast will be provided both days with lunch on day one and a networking reception on the first day as well.
Seminar participants will receive credit toward the RCE designation or toward re-certification. The course does not fulfill the educational requirements for Professional Standards Administrator training.
Attendees' successful completion will be recognized; however, no certification status is conferred. It is recommended that attendees have at least five years experience in Code of Ethics enforcement.
