Reports to Public Policy Coordinating Committee
Purpose
To identify new and emerging federal technology and telecommunications public policy issues of importance to the real estate community (including, sales, brokerage, MLS and association business activities) and to recommend NAR policy positions to the Business Issues Policy Committee.
Composition
21 members as follows: Vice Chair of the Business Issues Policy Committee will serve as Chair of the Advisory Board, two additional members of the Business Issues Policy Committee, three commercial specialists, three MLS representatives, three Real Estates Services (large firm) representatives, three representatives from the Young Professionals Network (YPN), three State and Local Association Representatives (AE or IT Director), one property management representative, and one appraisal representative. The Chair of the Business Issues Policy Committee shall serve as an ex-officio member of the Advisory Board.
Terms of service
One-year term.
Qualification(s) for consideration
At least five years business experience in real estate specializing in one of the following: residential sales/brokerage, commercial sales/brokerage, association management, IT management, MLS management, property management, appraisal, or any other deemed appropriate real estate specialties.
