The Institute Advisory Committee will consider matters relating to the conduct of the Institutes, Societies, and Councils including their relationship with one another and with the National Association. In addition, the Committee will evaluate recommendations on issues such as joint ventures and affiliate operational needs that are brought forth from the Affiliate Coalition Steering Group.* These recommendations will be shared with affiliate and NAR leadership at the Institute Advisory Committee for their consideration in order to coordinate the flow of recommendations to the appropriate decision-making bodies, if necessary. As outlined in the Constitution and Bylaws of NAR, the Committee reports to the Executive Committee only.
*Note: The Affiliate Coalition Steering Group consists of the executive vice Presidents of the affiliates and of NAR.
29 members as follows: Presidents, President-elects, and Chief Executive Officers of each of NAR's Institutes, Societies, and Councils and the President, President-elect, First Vice President, and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association. The Chief Executive Officer will serve without a vote. A Leadership Team member appointed by the President will serve as the Chair of the Institute Advisory Committee.
