Purpose

To advise and recommend to the Board of Directors policy matters concerning communication messaging and vehicles including printed publications, on-line and mobile versions of information, satellite delivery of information, and information delivered via current and future emerging technological methods of the National Association that are broadly circulated and targeted to the membership, state and local boards, and where applicable, real estate licensees.

Composition

27 members as follows: Chair and Vice Chair, the Immediate Past Chair, the Chair and Vice Chair of the Consumer Communications Committee and 22 at-large members (two of which must be Local Board or State Association Executives; one of which must be the Young Professionals Network Advisory Board Communications Representative) representing as closely as possible the demographic and geographic makeup of the national membership.

Terms of service

One-year term.

Qualification(s) for consideration

• Interest in all aspects of communications, including various delivery methods, such as printed material and satellite delivery.
• Interest in REALTOR® education.
• Interest in computer technology and computer literacy.
