Purpose

To consider various questions related to interpretation and enforcement of the Code of Ethics and to make recommendations for consideration by the Professional Standards Committee.

Composition

15 members as follows: Chair (who shall be the Immediate Past Chair of the Professional Standards Committee - in the Chair's absence, the most recent past Chair shall Chair the Advisory Board); the Chair and Vice Chair of the Professional Standards Committee, who shall serve as ex-officio members with a vote of the Advisory Board; and 12 at-large members drawn from the membership of the Professional Standards Committee and appointed annually by the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee, subject to the approval of the NAR President.

Terms

One-year term.

Qualification(s) for consideration

• 3 years experience on the NAR Professional Standards Committee.
• Knowledge of the Code of Ethics.
• Experience in Code of Ethics enforcement.
