To oversee the progress of programmatic activities, but will neither address NAR policy issues nor recommend policy.

Composition

14 members as follows: Chair (to be named annually by the NAR President), Vice Chair, Immediate Past Chair, Chair & Vice Chair of the Land Use Property Rights and Environment Committee, Chair & Vice Chair of the State and Local Issues Policy Committee, Chair of the Housing Opportunity Committee, Chair & Vice Chair of the State and Local Issues Mobilization Support Committee, one Association Executive, three at-large members, one Leadership Team representative.

Terms of service

Chair: One-year term.
Vice Chair: One-year term.
Immediate Past Chair: One-year term.
Chair & Vice Chair of Land Use Property Rights & Environment Committee: One-year term.
Chair & Vice Chair of State and Local Issues Policy Committee: One-year term.
Chair of Housing Opportunities Committee: One-year term.
Chair & Vice Chair of State and Local Issues Mobilization Support Committee: One-year term.
Three At-large members: Two-year staggered terms.
Leadership Team Representative: One-year term.
Association Executive: Two-year term.

Qualification(s) for consideration

At-large members: Expertise in smart growth and land use planning.
