In Nov. 2013, when REALTORS® met in San Francisco at the State President-Elect's breakfast, the meeting quickly transformed into an electric exchange of ideas.
To build on this enthusiasm, a forum on the State President’s email Listserv is continuing the discussion and exchange of ideas throughout 2014.
During the State Presidents’ Conference in Chicago, attendees discussed new mandatory core standards for local REALTOR® associations. The standards were developed by a Presidential Advisory Group appointed by President Steve Brown.
The NAR Board of Directors met in Washington, D.C., on May 17, 2014 and approved these mandatory core standards for roughly 1,400 local, state, and territorial REALTOR® associations.
