♦ Home From Work™ Sponsors
Any REALTOR® Board or Association, real estate training school/company, or brokerage firm can become a Home From Work class sponsor. Sponsors must sign and submit NAR's sponsorship agreement to indicate compliance with the program requirements. In addition, the Home From Work class must be taught by an authorized instructor and the NAR approved class materials must be used.
Home From Work Class Sponsor Responsibilities
- Complete the Sponsor Agreement and submit it to NAR
- Check the list of authorized instructors to locate an instructor for the class
- Set a date for the class and submit a Class Notification Form for each class to let us know when there will be a class. A Class Notification Form must be completed for each Home From Work ™ class. We cannot process a class without a Class Notification Form.
- Submit a class materials order form to NAR to order class materials. Class materials must be obtained from NAR and cannot be reproduced without NAR consent. See Class Materials below.
- Publicize the class to REALTORS® in your area on your website and newsletters.
- On the day of the class, make sure the approved class materials (ordered from NAR) are available for attendees. Also make sure the instructor has all that he/she needs such as a computer, projector, screen, etc.
- After the class, send NAR a class roster and the class evaluation forms from each student.
