Arizona Association of REALTORS®

Arizona Realtors® Housing Needs Foundation
The Arizona Housing Needs Foundation has been very successful. They raise money to be used to further housing opportunity efforts throughout the state. Money raised by local associations is distributed back to their area. State monies are used to fund state association activities such as their successful Employee Assistance Program.

Disaster Assistance Foundation
The Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) identified a need to establish a fund to collect and distribute tax deductible donations from members and the general public to be used to assist those who have suffered from a personal or natural disaster.

Arkansas

Arkansas REALTORS® Association

Arkansas REALTOR® Foundation
The Arkansas REALTORS® Association has created a housing opportunity foundation. The foundation funds are distributed to local non-profits and toward scholarships for real estate students.

California

California Association of REALTORS®

Housing Affordability Fund (H.A.F.)
The Fund receives donations from members, non-members, and other institutions that are committed to addressing the housing problem in California. It distributes these resources through Local Associations who have submitted funding requests for local programs that address housing affordability and housing supply directly. In order to have the maximum impact, it seeks to leverage its funds with Local Associations and their housing partners.

Silicon Valley Realtors® (SILVAR) Charitable Foundation
The Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation is a trust which makes grants available to organizations from donations by its REALTOR® and Affiliate members and friends. We are committed to the welfare and prosperity of the communities where we live and work. Through our charitable contributions and member involvement, we strive to help create more productive and enriched communities.

Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS®

Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® Housing Foundation
The Housing Foundation currently has funds earmarked and available for immediate distribution to aide Santa Cruz County families in becoming homeowners through our closing cost grant program. We are also building relationships with each of the local housing agencies to help better coordinate our efforts towards making more local residents into homeowners.

Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS

Minneapolis Area Association Foundation
The association organized a Foundation in 1988 to provide financial assistance to housing related organizations in the Twin Cities. Our association provided the housing statistical information required to convince Fannie Mae to contribute $25 million in financing for the new Grant Park condominium project in downtown Minneapolis. Our association works cooperatively with the Home Ownership Center to provide affordable mortgage information to our members.

Mississippi

Mississippi Association of Realtors

Mississippi Housing Opportunity Foundation
The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® and the Mississippi Bankers Association have partnered to create the Mississippi Housing Opportunity Foundation designed to foster higher homeownership rates among minority and low-to-middle income families through funds generated by interest earned on broker escrow accounts. The funds will provide grants and fund programs that extend housing opportunity to more Mississippians.

Hurricane Relief Fund
The Mississippi REALTOR® Hurricane Relief Fund was established in August 2005 in the hours before Hurricane Katrina struck a devastating blow to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It was designed to provide swift assistance to Mississippi families who sustained significant damage to their primary residences as a result of the unprecedented natural disaster.

REALTORS® Escrow Trust Account is a program by which REALTORS® may deposit
a home-buyer’s deposit money into an interest-bearing escrow account, and the
interest earned on that deposit is in turn donated to the nonprofit New Hampshire
Community Loan Fund.

Homes 4 NC
The North Carolina association has created Homes 4 NC- a non-profit foundation. The foundation distributes money to be used to benefit safe, decent, affordable housing or housing related needs in North Carolina.

Charlotte Regional REALTOR® Association

Housing Opportunity Foundation
As CRRA’s nonprofit branch, the foundation currently serves as the umbrella organization for the association’s focus on workforce housing. Current programs include the Humanitarian Award and the Workforce Housing Certificate Program (WHCP), which offers free educational workshops to Realtors®. As an extension of the certificate program, HOF also sponsors a community-wide Workforce Housing Fair.

Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Housing Foundation 

The Foundation is devoted to helping Oklahomans achieve their dreams of homeownership through direct down-payment assistance or financial contributions to non-profits focused on homeownership. There are four ways to support OHF: through escrow trust account sweeps, direct donations, purchasing a REALTOR® car tag and through "10/10 " program which encourages associates to donate $10 for each transaction they have and for their broker to match that with $10 of their own.

The REALTORS Housing Opportunities Fund was established to create an endowed fund from which grants can be distributed to Low country organizations that assist in the development, maintenance, or repair of housing for those whose dreams of homeownership are challenged by our regions increasing sales prices. Our goal is to address both immediate and long-term needs through an endowed fund administered by one of our region's most trusted non-profit organizations, the Coastal Community Foundation.

Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS®

Workforce Housing Fund
The CAAR Work Force Housing Fund (WFHF) was created in 2004 to address the need for affordable housing in local communities. The WFHF aids teachers, nurses, police officers, and fire fighters by providing financial assistance with the purchase of their homes. The program is administered by the Piedmont Housing Alliance (PHA), based in Charlottesville. PHA solicits and collects applications, then reviews each against a set of basic criteria making awards based upon that examination.

Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS®

The Realtors® Foundation
Our primary focus, but not exclusive focus, relates to housing needs, and as such the Foundation has established The Housing Relief Fund. This program is designed to assist local families struggling with hardships that threaten their ability to secure shelter.

Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS®

VPAR Charitable Foundation
A non-profit organization designed to raise monies through various fund-raising activities in support of local housing-related charities. The VPARCF consists of 12 volunteer Realtors and affiliates elected by the local Realtor Association. Since 2002, the VPARCF has raised and distributed over $40,000 to local charities.

HRRA Foundation
The HRRA Foundation is a channel for the charitable and community service energies of the professional real estate industry. The money donated to this foundation, by charter, must be directed to meeting the charitable needs of the community and for education of the public and the real estate industry.

Housing Foundation
The REALTORS® Association of South Central Wisconsin Housing Foundation is a non-profit organization under the IRS code 501(c)(3). Created in 1989, the purpose of the Foundation is to increase and improve the supply of affordable housing in Dane, Columbia, Dodge, Jefferson, Rock, Green, Iowa and Sauk counties by providing down payment assistance in the form of low interest loans to individuals and families.

Realtors® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin

RANWW Foundation
Our non-profit Foundation, which is funded completely through the contributions of our members, provides grants to our neighbors in need. Grants have been used for a variety of updates and installations including: Roof repairs, electrical upgrades, window replacements, garage door installation, plumbing updates, handicap access installation, well and septic updates, bathroom repairs, replacing hazardous steps, renovations to accommodate wheelchairs and replacing dangerous flooring.
