This guide to the Department of Defense's Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process helps REALTORS® know how to get involved to help communities cope with the substantial economic challenges that arise when bases are proposed for closure or expansion. The publication also discusses issues that arise when urban development encroaches on the base perimeter causing potential problems on both sides of the fence.
