Local and state associations can apply for financial support for programs and activities that position REALTORS® as leaders in our increasingly diverse communities. The Diversity Committee believes that providing resources to state and local associations is a key strategy in NAR's overall diversity program. Applications should support the strategies outlined in NAR’s Diversity and Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity Strategic Plan. The application review panel is made up of members of the Diversity Committee.
Micro-grants for up to $2,500 to participate in smaller, inexpensive community projects to enhance neighborhoods and make them a better place to live, work and play.
Housing Opportunity Program Grants support the efforts of state and local REALTOR® associations that are implementing affordable housing programs and initiatives. The goal of the program is to position REALTORS® as leaders in improving their communities by creating housing opportunities.
NAR's Smart Growth Action Grants support a wide range of land-use related activities. To be considered, activities should support the core purpose of NAR's Smart Growth Program: to support REALTOR® engagement in land-use related issues with the primary goals of affecting public policies that support a more sustainable development paradigm while raising the profile of REALTORS® as community leaders and enhancing REALTOR® relationships with elected officials.
The REALTOR® Party Game Changer concept originated in 2011 from the thought that a state or local association may have a great, original public policy, advocacy or outreach idea relating to real estate, but it still may not fall under the tools and services included in the REALTOR® Party. For that reason, the REALTOR® Party Game Changer Program was established.
The RPAC Conference Grants help state associations increase their RPAC fundraising receipts and RPAC participation. State associations may qualify to receive a minimum of $5,000 and up to $16,000 to aid in hosting an educational fundraising conference. Grant amounts are based on membership at $.10 per member or a minimum of $5,000, whichever amount is greater.
The RPAC Fundraising Event Grants help state and local associations increase their RPAC fundraising receipts and RPAC participation. Your participation in the program is subject to state law.

The Issues Mobilization Grant, which is part of NAR’s Campaign Services, provides financial assistance to state and local REALTOR® associations to organize and manage effective state and local issue advocacy campaigns to promote positions on public policies (government laws, regulations, courses of action and funding priorities) that affect REALTOR® interests. The objective of the National Association of REALTORS® International Travel Grants program is to equitably provide reimbursement to President’s Liaisons who travel abroad to represent the National Association of REALTORS®.
The Innovation Grant Program provides financial resources for new commercial programming at REALTOR® associations that have an active commercial structure. Innovation Grant proposals must demonstrate an impact on the REALTOR® association; new products, programs, processes, or services that improve an organization's commercial real estate presence will be considered.
