REALTOR® Ambassadors for Cities Events
HOP staff will work in advance with the chosen REALTOR® organization and the local mayor to identify affordable housing challenges and develop a joint strategy to achieve results. A local forum will be held that both highlights the partnership and its strategy, as well as provides an opportunity to carry on a further dialogue to create more local housing opportunities.
With help from the local REALTORS® and mayor, the key local players will be identified to form the local partnership, including REALTORS®, lenders, local officials, developers, advocates, academics, and others. Leadership from NAR and the USCM would also be represented at the event.
The forum will provide an opportunity for participants to celebrate their successful partnership, highlight local successes, outline remaining affordable housing challenges, and chart a course to overcome these obstacles.
