CIPS designation meets requirements for masters program

The Burns School at the Daniels College of Business of the UNIVERSITY OF DENVER has approved the CIPS designation as an experiential requirement for its Executive Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management (XMRCM) degree. The program was introduced to members in the school's exhibit in the International Business Center at the NAR Convention. Other approved experience and designations include the CCIM, CPM, or CRE designations, or a degree as an architect or engineer.

The XMRCM Program is an accelerated two-year program designed for experienced professionals who wish to complete their Master's degree by building upon knowledge and expertise acquired through high-level real estate or construction management designation or degree and work experience. The program is delivered over a two-year period, through six one-week, on-campus sessions at the University of Denver, independent study, web activity, chat rooms, and so forth. The program provides participants with the key concepts, terms and analytical tools essential to remain current in the field, to hone their leadership and management skills, and provide more knowledge across disciplines and functions.
