Expansion of Country Networking eGroups
By the end of the year, NAR plans to have six new Country Networking eGroups in place. Country Networking eGroups are “virtual” groups of CIPS Network members with an interest in specific country, who use the Internet to network without the restraints of geographic location. A Mexico eGroup was launched in 2000 and continues to actively exchange ideas and information through a list serve. Currently it has 45 members located throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Any CIPS Network member is welcome to join—just e-mail NARglobe@realtors.org.
Based on an analysis of CIPS Network members’ business interests, the groups that will be launched in the coming months are the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Brazil and Singapore.
