Association Awarded Damages for Violation of Court Order

(Feb. 1) Pennsylvania court awards REALTOR® association its costs incurred in monitoring a member's continued placing of improper listings into the association's multiple listing service despite a court order to cease this activity.

Court Confirms Arbitration Award

(Jan. 26) Maine's highest court rules that challenger had failed to provide any basis for overturning the award.

Antitrust Allegations Against MLS, Association Dismissed

(Jan. 18) A Minnesota federal court ruled that a lawsuit had failed to demonstrate an antitrust injury and so rejected the federal antitrust allegations.

2012 Insurance Program Documents Available

(Jan. 18) The new documents for NAR's Professional Liability Insurance Program for Associations of REALTORS® and MLSs are now available. Associations and MLSs wishing to purchase any of the additional or excess coverages have until April 1 to submit their application.
