Frequently Asked Question
FAQ : How do I get back to several eBooks I downloaded recently?

For your information:

First and foremost, please be certain that you've downloaded the **free** required software from eBooks.realtor.org.

To access Adobe eBooks using Adobe Reader 7, simply launch your Adobe Reader application, click on "File," then "Digital Editions," then "My Digital Editions."  If you see the book cover image there, double-click on the image to read the eBook.

If you don't see anything in My Digital Editions, go to eBooks.realtor.org, click on My eBook Account, sign in with your NRDS number, click on My eBookshelf, and then click on the "Download" button just below the image of the book cover.  The defaults are built into the download process, so simply follow the prompts as they appear.  (The 'Easy Activation' process will allow you to access the eBook from the computer you're now using, if you opt not to use the 'Named Activation' process.)

To access Adobe eBooks using Adobe Reader 8, be sure you have downloaded the corresponding application, "Adobe Digital Editions." If you've already done so, simply launch ADE, click on the "Library View" icon (icon of three books, in upper left-hand corner), double-click on title of downloaded eBook in the right-hand pane. Use the left-hand pane to navigate through the eBook.

If you've borrowed Mobipocket eBooks, open the Mobipocket application on your PC to access your eBooks. Likewise, if you've borrowed an audiobook or downloadable video, you'll access these titles through the OverDrive Media Console application on your PC.

Remember, eBooks are only available for the duration of your lending period, with exception of audio books burned to CD or transferred to handheld devices. You may need to borrow the item again, if the lending period has expired.
