With the goal of serving as the single point of contact for members, boards, affiliates, staff, government agencies, consumers and academic communities worldwide, Information Central was formed in 1997 by combining the forces of three groups within the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®: Customer Service, Library Services and Membership Services. Information Central is the place where incoming toll-free telephone calls and email requests yield lightning-speed results. Our knowledgeable staff of experts is on hand to answer questions, provide assistance and help locate information in an efficient and timely manner.
 
In order to effectively meet our customers’ ever-changing needs, Information Central has grown into one of the most technologically-enhanced areas of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. In fact, on an annual basis, Information Central handles over 120,000 telephone calls, 62,000 e-mail requests, 50,000 follow-up contacts, 17,000 pieces of written correspondence and 14,000 research requests. And with the advancements in technology, these numbers will continue to grow! Our fully integrated customer relationship management system enables Information Central to specialize in:

Library Services
Information Central boasts the world’s largest real estate library. Members have access to this extensive collection of books, articles, reports, statistics, tapes, DVDs, as well as real estate and business periodicals & journals. Whether you need to check something out from our collection or need customized research for a special project, contact Information Central. Most questions can be answered immediately. In fact, quick reference questions are answered at no charge. Requests that involve research or loaned materials will be assessed a minimal service fee of $10.00. We’ll respond to your request within 3-5 business days, but if you need the facts immediately, we do offer a special 48-hour rush service for $25.00. The library is open to visiting members Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12noon and 2pm-4:30pm CST. Virtual Library
Open 24/7, Information Central’s Virtual Library is your online news, technology and business resource available through REALTOR.org. The Virtual Library provides a wealth of specialty pages on the top issues and trends affecting the real estate industry, as well as full-text articles and links to the most informative web sites. You can also save subscription dollars by reading the leading real estate and business magazines and newspapers online for free. Browse our extensive collection at your leisure, reference online and print resources, and even request customized research with just a few keystrokes.
